How long will it take to receive my Aluspace door?
Our delivery times vary, depending on time of year and demand, each product listing will tell you the current lead time for your order. Once we despatch your doors most of our customers will receive them in 3 working days, if you are in an outlying area it will be 5 working days. You'll get an email when we've despatched your door to our two man delivery service, they will contact you direct usually by text with a delivery slot to let you know when the doors will arrive.
What is the guarantee?
Aluspace doors have a 10 year guarantee.
Does this have a bottom track?
There is no bottom track with this size of door, making a seamless transition between rooms.
Do Vufold do installation?
Vufold do not offer an installation service all our sets are designed to be easily installed by a local tradesperson or competent DIYer.
Do you offer custom sizes and designs?
We can produce custom sizes, colours and designs. Please contact a member of the team on 01625 442899 during office hours, or provide details here and a member of the team will contact you at the earliest opportunity.
Can this door have a lock?
This range of doors does not have a lock option.
Does having under floor heating affect the installation?
Yes, If you have ordered a door set with a sidelight, you will need to use an alternative fixing method (not supplied) when fixing the sidelight into the floor and / or know the location of the heating pipe or mats. If you have ordered a single door or French door without a sidelight you can follow our standard installation method.
How will my doors arrive?
Your doors will arrive fully fitted to the frame, ensuring a seamless installation process. The glass components will be supplied separately, allowing you to install them as needed.
Is professional installation recommended?
Yes. While your doors will arrive fully fitted to the frame, ensuring proper alignment, professional installers have the expertise to handle the glass components safely and ensure everything is fitted correctly, providing you with peace of mind and a flawless finish.
Can I install the doors myself?
Yes. Competent DIYers with previous experience installing doors and windows should be able to install the doors themselves.
